This splendidly detailed model is in
excellent condition. It is offered in
the "Carat" waterline model line by Classic Ship Collection
located on the German island of Travemünde in the Baltic Sea.
Albatros
is modeled at a scale of 1:1250 (which
means 1 inch on the model equals about
104 feet in real life). The casting is of
metal alloy and appears to have
been given considerable hand finishing
by the manufacturer. It is less than six
inches (150mm) long and comes mounted in
a wooden frame to prevent damage in
shipping.
