Sue at the Lake. Judy's sister Sue. Sue had always worn red, white and blue or black cothing. Then she discovered she was a "Fall", not a "Winter." She was actually wearing a red, white and blue top and white slacks (or were they black?). So to accomodate her changed aesthetic, I changed the colors (from the photo I had taken).

I worked out an impressionistic background and had finished the lower figure and drapery, but when I got to the face, I perhaps realized that Sue, being rather shy by nature, had put on a "posing for the camera" face, so I set it aside to think about it, and never went back.
