Margo Vreeburg (detail:full size).Painting flesh requires lots of practice because skin is without particular color. In this lifesize image you can see the Rembrandt technique for painting fabric. In this case I used a glaze of asphalt, which is inimitable but very hard to handle.
I particularly like the tactile quality of this portrait.
