In 1982 I watched this TV program that featured William Alexander teaching people how to achieve wonderful paintings without much know-how. Along came the Falklands war and the second painting I did was this William Alexander style scene with the Iceburgs reflecting off the water. Depicted is the British submarine which sank the Argentine light cruiser, General Belgrano which had once been the USS Phoenix .
