A Byerly's delivery man came to my home right after I had painted this picture. "Who is this?" I asked confidently. "I have no idea," he replied. I was crestfallen. Well, what about this? I showed a sketch of the same woman. "Why, that's Ann of course," he replied without hesitation. The sketch is a more nearly true likeness. It happens that way sometimes.
